Been a while
Loved this groove, Cheese. The breakdown around 1:05 was well done and the reapeating keys were tasteful and kept it interesting.
An all-around good listen!

Blown away
Wow.. loved the lyrics, and the tune was well-played and catchy - you really get pop music. The harmonies in the chorus were masterfully done, the bridge was seamless and tasteful. The instrumentation didn't hog the spotlight over the vocals. The chorus will be going through my head all day! 10/10.
Glad you liked it. It's cool that you picked up on the all pop music song-smithing elements. This song was my attempt at making as good a pop song as I possibly could. Driving beat, good melody, simple but catchy lyrics, lots of harmony featuring vocals over instrumentation. You should hear the demo of this song... completely different. It was in 6/8 and sounded like a hillbilly folk song.
We're pretty happy with how it turned out.
This is a jam.
Well, while I have to agree with some of the other reviewers that the mix isn't exactly perfect, in the case of this piece that's not really what I care about.
The instruments were well chosen and the chord pattern was funky. I can honestly say that I wish I'd written and arranged this! The guitar had a great sound - you really pulled this song off well. Awesome job!
Hey, thanks!
Liked the song
The guy before me was an idiot!
:-)
Lol thanks! I figured that one XD
Very cool.
Hey man, this was extremely creative and well-written. The lead was a little annoying, but the chord stucture was nuts. The chord change at 0:30 was great.
Awesome job overall!
Hey thanks for the review! i agree about hte lead.
i kiinda stoped working on id rather be flying remix >.< sorry.
Lovely
This is a very lovely tune, quickshot. The bell was a nice touch. What program are you using? Your strings sound great.
Keep up the good work, man!
Thankyou my friend, I pretty much use a (Parsee) system, created in India, and used by my father. When I turned "12" he finnaly taught me the basics of musical theory, the rest I learned on my own, well had to...He's a busy man you know. Thankyou for your review. :)
Hi again, Winter
Right from the beginning I liked your melodic hook, and I'll never be able to use dissonance quite the perfect way you do, it seems. Your "bridge" is very reminiscent of your other pieces - this song definitely had your trademark on it!
Beautifully-played, nicely-written. Thanks for another great work!
your welcome
i had fun composing it
thanks fo tha reveeuu
*Golf clap*
Great work, my friend. Your drum beat sounded fantastic, and I liked the keys, too. This song was a real jam; I V vi IV is pretty rare to see improvised. You do a great job with these club-beats, jerrims. Keep it up!
Not sure what you mean by the roman numerals? Yeah I won't be making a new song for a while too since midterm week is coming for me. School first, soccer second, music third. Thanks once again for the review.
I'm blown away
The sound you managed to get out of that choir was awesome, as were the drums. The horns were a little cheezy, but anyone can understand that - it's one of the most difficult sounds to simulate.
I loved the arpeggiating strings during the final quarter or so - your soft cymbals were tastefully placed as well. But DAMN boy... that choir. Great work.
I'm glad I took the time to check this out - please do keep it up!
Well I think too that the choirs are the best in this music. It was quite a lot time to manage them in this way but it was fun and I was satisfied with the end results.
I know the horn and brass sounds are not the best - I don't have good samples (yet) but I thought this music can't be complete without them.
Thanks for writing a review and I'm happy that you liked it.
Awww, hang in there
This was so well-arranged! Are you using garritan?! I really have to get garritan. I must go write a song about jealousy now.
Anyways, I haven't seen any of your stuff before; this is my first time, but you seem to have a knack for orchestral composition. I'd love to know what programs you're using...talk shop a bit.
And don't worry about this girl, my friend. We've all been there - keep your head up and keep making music!
I'm off to check out more of your stuff.
i'm using FL5 with the Edirol Orchestral Plugin. i've never heard of Garritan... maybe i shoul look into it. i'm glad you like my music! it is my emotional output. i'm off to check your stuff out! if you have any! :)
